Maldon Labour honours the Fallen on Remembrance Sunday

On Sunday members of Maldon Labour party joined local civic dignitaries, former soldiers and the public as the nation fell silent to honour the Fallen of the First World War.

Wreathes were laid by members across the district at the war memorials in Burnham on Crouch, South Woodham Ferrers and Maldon. The wreathe laying was followed by the Last Post to mark the beginning of the two minute silence.

Prue Plumridge, secretary of Maldon Labour Party said ‘we join Jeremy Corbyn in remembering the fallen of all wars and the hope of creating a world of peace.
